Engineering Excellence Awards
ACEC's annual Engineering
Excellence Awards (EEA) program, recognizes innovation,
expertise, and ingenuity in engineering achievement. This
nationally acclaimed engineering industry awards competition –
offers entrants well-deserved recognition from their peers
as well as a national audience. The accomplishments and
contributions of private engineering firms are brought to the
attention of State Officials, Members of Congress, federal
agencies and the national media.

ACEC Alabama Richard Groenendyke Scholarship
Two, $3,000
scholarships are awarded annually to qualifying engineering
students attending an ABET accredited engineering college in
Alabama. To qualify, a student must be a U.S. citizen pursuing a
Bachelor's degree in an Accreditation Board for Engineering and
Technology (ABET)-accredited engineering program or in an
accredited land-surveying program. Students must be entering
their junior, senior or fifth year, in the fall of 2007
to qualify. The highest scored scholarship recipient will
be sponsored to compete in the ACEC National Scholarship
Competition.
